  2. Hi! I just came across your blog and the great patterns - thank you soooo much - love the doily rug! And the diaper cover and these! Have never tried something with cables - wondered how to do all those stitches - looking forward to trying this out when I get a break after Thanksgiving - what a fun idea! Thank you!!!

    1. it's a cable in the middle, are you confused about the skipping stitches and then going back? There are lots of great cable stitch tutorials out there. Otherwise I think it's pretty straighforward.

    2. If you read it as 3rd st, not 3 st, it works

  5. I feel silly asking this because no one else seems to have a problem. I finished the first 8 rows with no problem. Because row 8 uses BPDC and you start over with row 4 which also uses BPDC the cable goes from the front of the glove to the back of the glove. What in the world am I missing?

  6. Hi there. I think there is a mistake in row 15 as the stitches count as 35 but there's only meant to be 34. Can you help me please? Thank you.

    1. I haven't got to row 15 yet. The pattern is fantastic but there are some things that need to be interpreted...like in row 5 where it says "in 3 st" so maybe that's the case in row 15 that something is not stated correctly. I found this pattern on the net as a pdf and it doesn't have the "in 3st" in row 5. Maybe you could see if you can find that and see if it's the same as the row 15 here. The other what I think are mistakes in row5 are the same on here and in the pdf

    2. ok I'm to row 15 and I see what you mean. Acc to the pattern you have to crochet into 14 stitches at the end of the row and after the increases in row 14 there are only 13 stitches there to work in.I don't know the solution but I'm working on it.

  7. in row 5 it says do fptc in first skipped st, fpdc in second skipped stitch. Then dc in next st then fptc in next stitch. Should it be fptc in second skipped stitch then after the dc in next stitch shouldn't it be fpDC in that next stitch.

  8. Mine also turned out way too large so I chained 4 stitches less and did only 9 stitches on each side instead of the 11 called for here. I did use Red Heart with love yarn though instead of simply soft. I just don't like simply soft

  9. and why, in the pdf does it say to chain 33 for the right glove and only 32 for the left glove? Here it says 32 for both but I followed the pdf and used 33 and it worked. I don't know how it would work only using 32. In the pdf it says ch33, and you start by dc in 4th stitch from the hook
